Beetleweight Drive ESC?
« on: September 16, 2018, 03:00:32 pm »
Ok, so I am designing my first robot, a Beetleweight drum spinner. I have a good chunk of the parts figured out. I am planning on using the Kitbots “1000”RPM motors for drive, and a brushless motor for the drum. I was also planning on using FingerTech TinyESC’s for drive, but I heard the kitbots motors blow them up. Anyone have experience with this? Also, how would I figure out what battery to use? Thanks!

Depending on how much power you plan on using, 1000mah 3-4s is around average for the class. The tinyesc's might work on 3s with those motors, but using something bigger would proably be a better option like the wasp or scorpion by robot power or vex29.
