Parade Plans

I double-checked and we have been accepted for the parade this year. (2017)

The parade is Tuesday Aug 8th.  Registration is 7:30-9:00am.  We MUST be registered by 9, so I guess that means we shouldn't just show up at 8:55.  The parade actually starts at 10am.

Our tow vehicle MUST be decorated.  Do we want to make bows out of caution tape again?  Buy some metallic poofy flowers?   "Decorated means flowers, balloons, artificial skirting, etc. -- not vehicle decals"

Bring your own water. 

Who is in this year?  Do we have any large drivable bots that can follow behind the arena?  Will someone build an angle grinder to block of flint bot to make sparks?

I was hoping to build something flashy around the chassis of the 60lber I bought from Dirk, but unfortunately it turns out I won't be able to make it at all this year.

I'm in.  I didn't mind last year's decorations.  Anything we want to change or add?

We've got heavyweights, but I believe the parade lasts longer than 3 minutes.

I'll revamp my little 4WD thing again as that seemed to work well. I wouldn't really be comfortable with LWs or HWs running around, one glitch and you end up smashing a gaggle of children. C&B would be neat to display but how to do it?

If Brandon can't make it with his sparky bot, we could put CnB in the arena.  We will be moving too fast to answer people asking "they fight in there?!"
