I'm always on the lookout for tools, so just thought I would post ones I find like I did on Delphi.

Bit of a drive but would make an decent small bot lathe.

I got a bigger mill, so I'm looking at selling my old X2 mini-mill. This is just a feeler for right now, I'm not sure I can get my new mill running in time for the next event (need tooling and some electrical work in my garage) so I might still need this to build the new Shooter....

Anyways, this is what you get if you were buying it new:

X2 mini mill             =  $830 at Princess
X2 belt drive upgrade = $190 at LittleMachineShop
Clamping kit             =   $70 at Busybee
2" Milling vise            = $145 at Busybee
3 axis iGauging DRO   = $110 at Busybee
8 pc quickchange collet= $200 at LittleMachineShop
drill chuck, wrenches, etc

Thats $1545CAD not even counting tax and shipping...special robot builder price: $600 delivered!!

If anyone is interested let me know, otherwise it will eventually end up on Kijiji for a higher price!

What about delivered to the UK? Still free? Lol. Nice machine, the DRO addition is pretty special.

...I would snatch this up in seconds if the offer were here :(

I'd definitely be interested when you get around to selling it.

A little on the expensive side, but OBO...

I think this is roughly a RF-25 sized mill, not too shabby of a price since  he will deliver:

Sounds funny but I would like to know what a milling machine could make in regards to robot?  Robot frame, drum weapons?
A metal lathe would do hubs and what else.

Thank you for answering

Tons of uses for a mill.

-Cutting slots or keyways
- "hogging out" material instead of drilling holes to save weight
-heavy, more precise drilling
-squaring up pieces that were cut on saws and similar
- making 1 piece frames out of a single block of material

Almost anything you can think of if you have the right tooling to go with it.

thoughts on separating some things? I have a mini mill but could use a nicer vice, the DRO, and the clamp set.

think about it, no rush.
