Is there a SPARC logo image file suitable for printer large size?  I want to include SPARC on our "Sponsors and Partners" banner at HORD.

Questions / Re: How to builds an arena?
« on: February 03, 2016, 02:45:07 pm »
That is a cool article - I keep seeing references to Servo magazine articles and wonder whether I should subscribe.
This thread also goes into a bit of detail about an arena build.

I think  you should subscribe.  However, being a SERVO contributor and an EO of an event sponsored by SERVO my opinions on that matter are bias.

  Thanks for the link

Mike,

Thanks for pointing out that article.  Now I'm pondering the retaliative merits of steel floor verse ply wood floor.

I think I have a few BR6000s somewhere that I can use because that transmitter does not work anymore.  If I can find them I will make you a deal.

Looking for guidance for building an insect weight arena.
Are there any build report, plans, or other information on how to build an 8 x 8 steel floor arena?

Does anyone know of a RC toy or kit that can be hacked into a 150 gram robot?

Anyone ever try and use a par of these for a Fairy drive train?

with a 1/2" wheel you should get a pretty  good balance of power and speed, if the gearmotors are reliable.

Thanks

ORC would like to build a new insect arena. Are there any good arena building guides out there, and/or does anyone have a mostly complete arena they want to sell?
