Small Bots of Mass Destruction

February 11, 2017 - February 12, 2017

Small Bots of Mass Destruction is back @ The Martin County Fairgrounds starting on Saturday February 11, 2016… This two-day event hosted by Treasure Coast Makerspace along with KurTrox presents our 3rd combat robot tournament. This EPIC event takes place at the Fairgrounds during the annual Martin County Fair. Not only do you get to fight robots, but the exhibits and rides are available for builders to take a breaks and enjoy too!! Fair Entrance wristband is included with each builder signup. (rides wristband is extra “purchased @ fair”)

Trophies and great prizes for the top 2 in each class, Special awards for the rumble winners, best engineered robot, coolest robot, best driver, sportsmanship award, highest hit, and more!

SBoMD uses a modified SPARC ruleset. Please visit the TCMS website Rules Page for a detailed ruleset. Email event operator Abra Durjan for any questions regarding the rules. FLAMETHROWERS are ALLOWED!!!! and ENCOURAGED!

Each team is allowed a maximum of three robots per weight class. Each driver is only allowed to drive one robot per weight class. (Example: One team may enter 2 robots in the Beetleweight class, as long as there are separate dedicated drivers for each robot). This helps us mitigate delays from one driver with too many robots to repair later in the day.

During the competition it is imperative that you stay close by, within announcers voice, at all times. We don’t want anyone to forfeit because it is their turn to compete and they cannot be found.

The Fair will be running both days and it is easy to get distracted and wander off during competitions.

The Martin County Fair Grounds is located on A1A in Stuart, FL. Address is: 2616 SE Dixie Hwy, Stuart, FL 34996. We will be located under the breezeway between “A” and “C” buildings. Invite your friends and family to watch the action!

If you are traveling from out of town we have a special rate worked out with the fair and a local hotel. All of that information will be emailed to you when you register.
